Sail Tahiti is BENETEAU dealer
We have the honor of being appointed as exclusive BENETEAU dealer in Polynesia, for all motor and sail ranges.
Sail Tahiti is delighted to announce that we are now the exclusive BENETEAU dealer in Polynesia for all motor and sailing ranges. Our know-how in terms of distribution (we were awarded best Asia-Pacific dealer 2022 for the Excess Catamaran brand) convinced the BENETEAU Group teams. We are proud to take on this new challenge: to give the BENETEAU ranges in Polynesia the leading position they occupy elsewhere in the world.
From day-boating to ocean cruising, there is a BENETEAU boat for every type of sailing: Flyer, Antares, Swift Trawler, Gran Turismo, Grand Trawler, Oceanis, Oceanis Yacht, Figaro Beneteau 3 and First.
Sea trial : the BENETEAU FLYER 7
The perfect day boat ideal for outings with friends around Tahiti and the islands, the Flyer 7 exists in 2 versions: Spacedeck for fishing and water sports, and Sundeck for lazing around and nights at anchor in Moorea.

The countdown to the opening of our Sail Tahiti Showroom has begun!
Strategically located in the Vaima centre on the Papeete waterfront, this unique space will be dedicated to sailing in Polynesia in all its forms: cruising, chartering, lagoon cruising, water sports and sport sailing. Offices for each of our activities (new boats, second hand boats, rental and management) with a presentation of the latest equipment and board sports, next to a lounge area for relaxed exchanges.
The Sail Tahiti team is growing
Lionel and Alexandre have joined us to strengthen our service department. Both have worked for the BENETEAU group in Bordeaux and have acquired high level skills in the preparation, development and maintenance of the group’s most advanced units. Sail Tahiti is now able to meet all the needs of our customers: boat preparation, handover, installation of equipment, renovation, and caretaking…
Alexandre Bertaud
After starting his career as a sports trainer, Alexandre’s passion for boats led him to train as a nautical technician and then to join the BENETEAU Group in the shipping department for Lagoon catamarans over 60 feet. He brings a precise know-how and mastery of quality processes, as well as an incredible energy.
Lionel Rodolausse
Lionel lived in Tahiti from 1998 to 2001 and met his wife, a native of Rurutu. His career spans twenty years in France in the nautical industry where he held positions as a technician and then as a manager in the manufacture and follow-up of large yachts, notably the Lagoon 77 and the Couach yachts. Lionel, who is passionate about surfing and va’a (outrigger canoeing), joined Tahiti to manage our service division.

Adventure: sailing from France to Tahiti on an Excess 11!
In 2023, no less than 6 Excess catamarans will set sail from France to Tahiti with the support of our Sail Tahiti team.
At the beginning of this year, as each of the future owners is starting their preparation, we introduce you to Hinatea and Tristan, a young couple of engineers who are passionate about discovery, sensitive to the protection of nature, and who are going to give a new direction to their lives by moving to Tahiti… Rather than taking a plane, they have chosen to leave on board an Excess 11.
