The Sun Odyssey 42 – Folie, is a classic cruising monohull, built by Jeanneau in 1993 and designed by Guy Ribadeau Dumas. She's relatively stiff under sail and is reputed to give good sailing performance. Designed for blue water cruising, the set-up is for shorthanded sailing and the interior is roomy enough to welcome a family and thought out with plenty of storage space for long passages.
Folie's current owners bought her in the Caribbean and sailed to French Polynesia where they have kept on sailing their boat during holidays and weekends. The boat is locally imported, registered in France and in a permanent mooring in the Taina marina. She's a well-maintained boat with a classic teak deck in good condition and attractive interior wood panelling.
With standing rigging updated 7 years ago, new batteries, wind generator and solar as well as davits for the dingy – this Sun Odyssey 42 is completely ready to sail.
