Project Description

Subrero 14m steel ketch – 1983

Pyroeis is a steel hulled expedition ketch designed by Marcel Subrero and built in the SCOMAIX yard in France.  She’s an extremely robust boat, built to explore the high latitudes from Alaska to Patagonia.  The ketch sail plan with a furling yankee and staysail with pole coupled with a central cockpit making for a boat that’s safe and easy to sail.

The interior is great for life on board: a large aft cabin with lots of storage, a spacious saloon with a real chart table and a nicely arranged galley.  This is completed by a double cabin forward and a office space and workshop.

Pyroeis has a generator, a 12V and 24V circuit, solar panels, an engine full overhauled by her diesel specialist owner, a water maker, heating and a full set of tools and spares.

This is a safe and reliable boat, made for sailing far.  Contact to get to know her better.
