The Salina 48, Les Enfants Terribles, is one of our favourite boats for long distance family cruising. It has a really vast living space, with cockpit leading straight into the saloon in loft style, excellent for enjoying with company. With 4 double cabins as well as single bunks in the interleading corridors and the forepeaks equipped with bunks, there is ample space for family and friends on board. As a plus, the cockpit table is dropdown making another double bed or just a great lounging area. The aft deck too offers extra space with a great suntanning area – an ideal spot when at anchor. One can really feel the difference in comparison to the equally popular 40-45ft models … the Salina 48 can accommodate a large group to a high degree of comfort and without feeling crowded, excellent for long months of cruising.
The Salina 48 has a semi-flybridge typical to the Fountaine Pajot design. This allows the helmsman to keep contact with the rest of the boat and regroups all sail handling for short-handed sailing.
