Project Description

Beneteau Oceanis 44 CC – 1997

The Oceanis 44CC is a liveable and sturdy cruiser true to the Oceanis reputation.  Add to this the comfort and safety of a centre cockpit, which remains popular with long distance cruisers for the good all-around visibility it gives.  Designed by Bruce Farr, the Oceanis 44CC is known for her handsome lines and roomy interior.

Regulus has a very large owners’ cabin aft with en-suite bathroom, as well as a nicely sized double cabin forward, double bunks and a 2nd bathroom.  The saloon is comfortable with table seating on port side and the chart table and settees on starboard.  The galley is in long format, between the saloon and the owner’s suite.   All the necessary comfort items are there, 2 fridges, microwave, television.

Regulus is Papeete tax paid.  She is an example of a boat that has been well maintained and today she is in excellent condition.  Looking at her hull, she was anti-fouled in June 2021 with no signs of osmosis, her keel bolts and rudder bearings were changed 2014 and through hulls and sea cock fittings in 2012.  Her rigging is from 2016, mainsail from 2012, and genoa from 2010.  She is fully cruising equipped with batteries from 2021, solar, wind generator, generator, water maker as well as full electronics with radar.  Add to this a bimini from 2017 for a comfortable exterior and you have a boat that is ready to cruise.

Ideal for liveaboard in Tahiti or cruising the islands.  Recent survey available on request.
