Project Description

Royal Cape Catamarans Majestic 530 – 2008

Alicia Angela is a Majestic 530 from Royal Cape Catamarans in South Africa.  Royal Cape are well known for producing big blue water cruising catamarans with luxury custom interiors with a standard of finish that is superior to series catamarans.  This particular boat has been set-up for long distance sailing with a focus on deep sea fishing.  There is a large fishing station aft (fishing stations, huge freezers), which could equally be used as a dive station (there's a locker specially for a compressor)

The boat is fully kitted for cruising with and impressive autonomy of 1000 litres of water and 1200l of diesel, an 8kva generator, 1000W of solar, 2 wind generators, a water maker.  The comfort on board is fully catered for with washing machine and dishwasher, 2 fridges and 2 large freezers and 220v and 110v throughout the boat.  There is radar and AIS for safe distance sailing.

The interior is the owner's version: the starboard hull has 2 double and 1 triple (double bed and single bed) guest cabin each with their own bathroom. In the port hull is the owner's cabin with study and bathroom complete with bath.  There is also another triple guest cabin also en suite.  Throughout the volumes are impressive and the finish well done with ample storage space.

This Majestic 530 was the Royal Cape Catamaran's demo boat in Miami and was bought by her current owners following the boat show in 2008.  They have sailed her in the Caribbean and then in California before sailing to French Polynesia.  Alicia Angela has been dry stored these last 4 years and has had an important refit to prepare her for some more sailing: new engines, new sails, new canvas covers, new outboard for the dingy… As you can see this is a veritable expedition catamaran and ready for your diving, fishing or luxury cruising projects.
