Michaela is the first Fountaine Pajot Lucia 40 available in French Polynesia. Financed with a French leasing contract which can be transferred to a French national: this way you can live your sabbatical cruise for around 1400 euros per month (ask us for details!). In Maestro version, with owner's hull, this Lucia 40 is the perfect boat for blue water cruising.
The Lucia 40 brings together all that is great in the Fountaine Pajot design, comfortable living with good sailing performance. There is easy movement between the cockpit and saloon, excellent all-around visibility and good natural ventilation. The helm station is a semi-flybridge making it easy to communicate with the cockpit – great for families, and it is well laid-out for shot handed sailing. The design is contemporary, light with plenty of storage. The 12m2 cockpit and lounge space forward are top of the range for a 40ft catamaran.
Michaela was launched end 2016 in La Rochelle and arrived in French Polynesia at the end of 2018. The boat is exceptionally well equipped with Fountaine Pajot's options list including flexi-teak cockpit, music centre, microwave in addition to the oven and hob, gennaker, drop down cockpit table, additional seawater tap in the galley, upgraded Volvo D30 engines with folding props. The list is long, best to download our inventory.
The owner is a seasoned sailor who has crossed several oceans and has added several items not usually on the options list: higher guardrails, 700W of solar instead of the standard 300W, 920 ah of battery capacity and a 3.4m aluminium hulled dingy.
Michaela has been kept to an excellent standard, both aesthetically as well as equipment maintenance.
If you're thinking of doing a sabbatical year in Polynesia on a fully equipped boat, this is an opportunity not to miss.
