Project Description

Brise de Mer 38 – 1983

The Brise de Mer 38 is an aluminum boat designed in the 80s by the architectural firm Finot, very famous for their long-distance boats, solid and reliable over time. Compared to the rest of the range, this model has benefited from an elongated hull as well as a greater draft, which makes it a pleasant and spacious boat in good condition and very seaworthy.

Yoyo is one of only 15 units built by the Le Guen Hemidy shipyard, and is available in Polynesia and ready to sail. The boat is local tax paid and its current owner has contributed a lot to its improvement by recently replacing the solar panel and the controller, the inverter, a new autopilot, the tender and its engine, the anchor, as well as the interior cushions. The aluminum hull is in very good condition and shows no signs of electrolysis. The engine was completely rebuilt and only has 350 hours since. The steering has been completely maintained with new bearings. The rigging is from 2017 and the sails are in very good condition. The anodes have been changed regularly and a newcutlass bearing has been purchased.

Yoyo has a bright and pleasant wooden interior, with plenty of storage space allowing you to serenely explore the Polynesian islands and beyond.

The boat is available immediately and can be visited at the marina in Taravao, Tahiti.
