Beneteau 50 – 1996

This Beneteau 50 is a perfect example of classic quality.  A perfectly maintained boat with an interior and exterior aesthetic that is irreproachable.   In 4 cabins, 4 bathrooms, with a forepeak skippers’ cabin, the wood paneling, big volumes and luminosity of this boat are remarkable.

The Beneteau 50 designed by Bruce Farr is now a classic of the cruising circuit.  A well-balanced boat with twin wheels that’s easy to handle solo for a 50-footer.  There is a big furling genoa and fully battened main which hoists using an electric winch.  This winch also doubles to furl the genoa.  The cutter set-up so has a staysail and an asymmetrical spinnaker giving many more sail setting options.  And there is a bow thruster to give a hand with close maneuvers.

Anahata has been used for exclusive private charter, always with her very experienced owners on board.  Consequently, everything is in perfect order.  There is new upholstery, quality household items, new taps, mirrors, USB chargers in each cabin, fans throughout.  The safety equipment is more than up to date.  The rigging was replaced in 2020.  The boat is recently antifouled, thorough overhauls done on the engine and generator and the addition of a Balmar 120Ah alternator .  There is also a wind and hydrogenator, water maker as well as recent batteries.  The 3.4m aluminium hulled dingy and 25Hp outboard are from 2021, there is a dive kit on board.

Anahata is absolutely ready to sail, nothing needed.  The perfect family boat or boat for bigger groups.  Comfortable and well prepared for long distance cruising.  Download the inventory for full details.
