The Amel Super Maramu has become a classic for ocean crossings and blue water cruising.  Amel offers a solid and high quality build with an ease of use that is loved by shorthanded sailors. The owners of this Super Maramu have been doing just that these last 10 years, and have sailed from France to the Caribbean, Panama and extensively around French Polynesia.

The Amel Super Maramu is a ketch design, with staysail, meaning that it’s easy adapt the sail plan to the weather conditions.  The electric furling mainsail and genoa and electric winches mean that sail handing is simple.  There is the Amel Super Maramu standard ballooner for downwind sailing.  All sail handling is done from the comfort of a deep protected cockpit, which is fully weather protected, as well as heated if you need!

This Amel Super Maramu has been kept in very good condition. The standing rigging was completely redone during 2014, a new engine was installed in 2013, 600W of solar panels and 60L watermaker were installed to allow the boat to be self-sufficient during crossings. There are 2 automatic pilots, 100 m of chain and an anchor of 34 kg with an electric windlass which allow for safe anchoring where ever you may be. This boat is ideal for a couple or a family who wants to start an adventure!

Life on board the Amel Super Maramu is comfortable. The cockpit has a beautiful teak removable table. The companionway on starboard gives access to the kitchen on portside, which is fully equipped with an electric oven, gas 3-ring hob and a double sink. The saloon is very spacious and gives access to the forward cabin. The owners cabin is aft and equipped with a double bed and a single bed.  Each cabin has its own bathroom. Just next to the chart table there is a passageway leading aft with bunk which is convenient for doing watches without disturbing anyone in the cabins.
