Project Description

Nissen 54  Aluminium Yacht built by the Classen shipyard – 2002

The Nissen 54 aluminium yacht is a luxury ocean cruiser built by the famous Dutch shipyard Classen.  It’s more of a superyacht being a one-off design for ocean expeditions, with an excellent build quality and luxurious finish.

Mary Anne has very elegant lines, a beautiful teak deck in excellent condition – the professional build finish is evident everywhere.  There is a central cockpit, swim platform aft that opens for storage of dive equipment etc.  She’s cutter rigged, with oversized deck fittings making her easy to handle even short-handed.  The hull length of 54ft gives good boat speed and a comfortable sailing motion.

The interior really shows the superyacht finish: beautiful carpentry, vast saloon that’s elegantly arranged with chart table, step-down into the galley in long format, large dining table.  There are 2 double cabins one with queen sized bed, plenty of head room and storage.  In addition, there 2 additional cabins, one with double bunks the other with a single bunk as well as 2 bathrooms and a technical room.

There is a full suite of electronics and enough energy with lithium batteries, generator, solar and wind generator to run the water maker and air conditioning.

The rigging, sails and engine as well as all the technical equipment are in perfect condition.

If you are looking for a prestigious monohull, ready for ocean voyages and expeditions to out of the way places, with the comfort expected from a superyacht, then the Nissen 54 aluminium yacht is the idea boat.
