Norango is a beautiful classic monohull, 35-footer, built in Florida in 1996 by Mooney Marine designed by naval architect Wittholz. The boat has a chined steel hull and gaff rig.
The hull and rig are in excellent condition. The current owner bought Norango in 2017, with a full survey. The technical elements of the boat were in good condition, but the aesthetics needed attention. Since, he has done a full refit: new interior and exterior paintwork to take care of the hull, new autopilot, sail maintenance, new lazy bag and canvas covers. With this in place, he has enjoyed the French Polynesian islands. Unfortunately, family reasons mean that he now needs to return to the UK.
This is undoubtedly our favourite of the moment, it’s a boat that will seduce classic boat lovers at first sight. The technical qualities and maintenance of the boat do not disappoint. Norango is at a very accessible price for a couple or seasoned solo sailor to enjoy French Polynesia. At this price it’s rare to find a well prepared boat of this style, a must see for classic boat lovers.
