Silent Sun is a Crealock 37, built by Cruising Consultants in California before Pacific Seacraft acquired the tooling. She’s the original William Crealock design, a yacht that is good for coastal sailing as well blue water voyages. Over the years feedback from owners, some of whom have circumnavigated, has confirmed these characteristics: good speed and comfort without compromising seaworthiness.
Silent Sun is a locally imported boat, meaning she can stay in French Polynesia indefinitely. Her US based owners are now back at work, so she’s on the market.
Their latest improvements include a brand-new Beta Marine engine still under guarantee and a new anchor chain. The autopilot was updated in 2018, the dingy and tohatsu outboard engine in 2016 and the water maker in 2015 and the rigging from 2010.
Silent Sun is therefore well prepared and has everything you might need for an extended cruise. At this budget it would be hard to find better.
